Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications
Rachel is responsible for managing the Center's core content offerings and communications strategy. This includes serving as the Editor in Chief of State of Main and other special publications and reports, and leading key marketing and communications projects including the development and launch of the new mainstreet.org. Previously, Rachel led the development of the Main Street America Institute, the Center's signature education and training program. Prior to joining the NMSC in 2013, Rachel worked for the Sustainability Program and Preservation Green Lab at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. She graduated with a degree in Art History from DePaul University and received a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
