Hannah Mira Friedland is the Membership and Administrative Assistant at the National Main Street Center (NMSC), where she works closely with the membership team to serve NMSC’s national member network and provides administrative support to the NMSC staff. Born in Evanston and raised in Glenview, Illinois, Hannah Mira graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she earned a B.A. in geography, concentration in urban studies, and minor in religious studies. Prior to joining the National Main Street Center in March of 2020, she planned and facilitated experiential education in New York City and Philadelphia based Jewish communal life non-profits and worked as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten classroom at Hubbard Woods School in Winnetka, Illinois. In addition to her work at the National Main Street Center, Hannah Mira enjoys playing viola and ice hockey and learning about local histories.
