I currently serve as the executive director of Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street in Lee’s Summit, MO, a community of more than 90,000 residents just outside of Kansas City. I have been with Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street since February 2014, initially serving as assistant director and was elevated to executive director in October 2015.
I have spent my professional career working in Missouri downtowns and Missouri Main Street programs, including more than five years as community development coordinator for the Urban Districts Alliance in Springfield. There I helped establish and implement a Community Improvement District, a task successfully repeated after my move to Lee’s Summit.
Since joining DLSMS, I have continued my professional development, including earning a master’s degree in Community Development from Kansas State University. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Drury University.
