December 8, 2020 | Main Street America and Brother Announce New Collaboration to Support Small Businesses |
Main Street America and
Brother International are working together to support small businesses and amplify the importance these enterprises play in communities across the country. The collaboration will shine a light on inspiring entrepreneurs and provide critical resources and marketing support to small businesses in need.
Main Street America and Brother share the belief that small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities and key drivers of our economy. They provide opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs, create quality jobs, and shape the character of the communities we know and love. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has left small businesses across the country reeling, with many struggling to re-open or stay open, re-hire employees, and keep up with the necessary shifts to remain competitive.
Main Street America, the nation’s leading advocate for Main Street revitalization, has been deeply engaged in supporting small businesses and the communities they anchor weather the storm of the pandemic. With its network of local Main Street organizations and Coordinating Program partners, Main Street America has mobilized a national advocacy effort and provided financial resources and technical support to communities and small businesses across the country.
The “
At Your Side” campaign with Brother builds on these efforts. Patrice Frey, President and CEO of Main Street America said, “We are thrilled to be joining forces with Brother to bring more attention and support to small businesses across our network. As the pandemic continues to put a strain on small businesses, it’s more important than ever to have partners like Brother willing to step up and lend a hand.”
“Brother has been a champion of the small business community, and we’re excited to partner with Main Street America to continue to support small businesses, especially those that have been impacted by the pandemic,” said Phil Lubell, Vice President, Marketing, Brother International Corporation. “Ensuring the vitality of these engines of economic and local community growth is essential, and we’re committed to being at your side for small businesses by providing tools, resources, and financial support to help keep them thriving.”Stay tuned in the coming months for special small business features, tips and tools, and a small business grant program!
