September 21, 2020 | Main Street Pop-up Conversations
Hey Main Streeters, do you miss connecting with your peers, getting inspiration from other communities, making new friends, or simply talking to anyone that doesn’t live in your house? Us too! That’s why we’re excited to announce a new regular series of Pop-up Conversations exclusively available to Main Street America members.
The Pop-Ups will be casual conversations organized around a common topic and facilitated by a member of our staff with ample time for small group discussion. You’ll get to hear examples from Main Streets across the country, connect with friends (and make some new ones!), and discuss how these issues are impacting you.
Our debut Pop-Up Conversation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th at 2pm CST and the topic is Fundraising through Crisis, facilitated by Kathy La Plante and featuring three local executive directors sharing their successes fundraising during COVID, including selling branded downtown merchandise and conducting virtual fundraising events. Attendees will then go into small breakout rooms to share successes and get ideas on how to diversify revenue streams and boost income.
Please note that space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served.
Here’s a preview of our upcoming Pop-Up Conversations! We’ll share registration links one week before each session.
