Call for Proposals: 2019 Main Street Now Conference

June 13, 2018 | Call for Proposals: 2019 Main Street Now Conference |

The National Main Street Center is seeking education session proposals for the 2019 Main Street Now Conference. Convened annually, Main Street Now showcases implementable best practices, time-tested solutions and innovative ideas from our national network of practitioners, as well as those in adjacent fields who share in the goal of creating economic and social prosperity in downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. This year, along with our hosts at the Washington State Main Street Program, we will explore Main Street programs from the inside out, centering on the hard-work of the staff and board, transformative external partnerships, and the myriad of ways in which communities come together on Main Streets.

We encourage proposals that speak to one of our three major themes—Managing Main Street, Elevating Local Leadership, and Celebrating Third Places—as well as perennial Main Street revitalization topics.

All proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on August 8, 2018. Please submit questions to
